A New Chapter for the Active Communities Hub
The Active Communities Hub (ACH) continues to grow as a shared space for community activity in the heart of Croydon.
Since the beginning of 2026, the day-to-day running of the Hub has been coordinated by Vineyard English School (VES) in partnership with Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA).
This arrangement builds on the Hub’s original vision: to provide an accessible space where charities, community groups, and local organisations can gather, collaborate, and deliver activities that benefit the wider Croydon community.
The Hub is already used regularly for a wide range of initiatives, including English language classes, community meetings, youth activities, wellbeing activities, and support programmes.
VES is present on site throughout the week, helping to coordinate bookings, support groups using the space, and ensure the Hub continues to function as a welcoming and well-managed community venue.
CVA remains an important partner in the project, supporting the Hub as part of its wider work strengthening Croydon’s voluntary and community sector.
Together, this partnership aims to ensure that ACH continues to grow as a shared resource for organisations working for the good of the community.
If you are part of a charity, community group, or organisation and would like to explore using the Hub, you are very welcome to get in touch or arrange a visit.
